Traditional bamboo Chasen whisk, for making the perfect matcha. Handcrafted from bamboo, our 100-prong Chasen allows for optimal aeration and gently kneads matcha into a smooth paste for matcha lattes, usucha or koicha.
For preservation of the whisk quality, we recommend soaking the prongs in hot water before whisking, and storing the whisk on a whisk holder to ensure it dries fully.
HOW TO PREPARE MATCHA
Scoop 2 to 2.5 grams of matcha into a small bowl. Add 40mL of 80°C water. Whisk with Chasen (bamboo whisk) in a Z motion until frothy. Add steamed milk of choice: we prefer soy or oat to enhance the health benefits of the matcha. Sweeten to taste.
